MARCH 21 UPDATE: The worker who made this report has confirmed that “Stag Shop is closing their doors for business at 8 pm today (Sat) for 2 weeks, potentially longer. Laying off everyone so they can get EI.” Management was “very flustered at all the angry social media messages they were getting for them to close, so I’m super happy it worked.”

Description of problem:
Remaining open despite not an essential business. Customers coming in, touching everything, putting employees in danger. Reducing store hours only by 2 hours at night as not to mess up management’s hours only part timers hours. There is no reason for a sex store to remain open during this time.
Demands/requests from the worker:
Close down and offer employees some sort of relief pay. But definitely close down for safety of employees. I’m terrified going into work.
